What does 'Crayon Freckles' mean?
My blog is named after my 2 kiddos.
Crayons = my son Bear, because he likes to color and create.
Freckles = my daughter Pip, is a red and has lots of them.
I started blogging because I had just finished a 365 photo project and wanted a new one. Little did I know how much I would LOVE blogging and connecting with so many amazing women!
Do you have any advice for moms that want to home preschool their children?
The most important thing I could tell other moms thinking about homeschooling their children, is to follow their child's lead and to do their "homework." I like to follow the interests of my son and gear our activities towards them to maintain his interest. Sometimes this means a bit more work on my part, but it's totally worth it!
Where do you come up with your fantastic and creative ideas?
My ideas/inspiration that make up my posts come from a few different areas. Some are from amazing fellow bloggers (credit is ALWAYS given to them! blogger honor is important). Some are from my days as a preschool teacher and some just **tink** pop right into my head.
