Life isn't about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.
-George Bernard Shaw

Well my friends, the time has come to say goodbye to Loving Lately. I know, it's sad. Kelly & Dawnelle have truly been the best, they are fabulous to work with and are terrific bloggers, but as a whole I think we were feeling overwhelmed with everyday life and staying on top of this weekly link up.

Lets face it, we all have 'real' lives.

Personally speaking, I have a million things on the the go, so to be stuck to HAVING to post on this very fine day every week, it got to be too much. I love the idea of showing off my fabulous finds on Pinterest, I love the idea of taking this day to actually think about the little things that made my week special, or pull together a fabulous curation of Etsy finds or things I'm drooling over. The thing is though, is that I can still do all those things, I just won't be posting about it weekly. If you like what I pin you can follow me here. But I don't want to be pressured to sit at my computer every Thursday night trying to pull together something fabulous, sometimes even forgetting that I was supposed to do that and throwing together something last minute. I want to still post about those things, but just on my own time. For those of you that have been following me for awhile {and have actually stuck around since my posting became obsolete}you could probably tell that my heart hasn't been in to blogging lately.

At one time I was so motivated to connect with you all, share stories and worries, I used to put my heart and soul into blogging and if I ever took a break, I was panicked that I would miss something in the blogging world! At one time I wanted to be that successful blogger that made money and had great ideas. But the thing that I didn't know about all that was that it took full time hours to get there. It took hours away from my family, and it didn't pay that well. Eventually I realized I just wasn't into it anymore. So I took a step back, got comfortable with letting go of preconceived notions of how I should be blogging, made a resolution to learn how to RELAX. I found myself stepping away from the computer more and more...and eventually I didn't miss it. I missed some of the communication I had previously with fellow bloggers, but that was it. I didn't miss trying to take pictures of everything, or putting together step by step projects. What I did get though with my new found 'time' was time to just BE. Time to enjoy creating something, time to just hang out with the kids or relax on the couch with my husband, and not be worried that I wasn't keeping up with some 'bigger & better blogger' who was doing it all!

Which brings me here, to today. To deciding that it's ok if I don't feel like blogging. Don't get me wrong...I still have some hopes somewhere deep in me that one day I will be some famous creative blogger, but I'm not ready to go there just yet. I like being here. I like having a space that I can call my own. And if that means I want to post today but not next week. That's ok. If your still here today, but not next week. That's ok. I wish I had a goal in mind for this space, but right now I think there are other things in life that need my attention. I do know that I still want to share special things with you, projects, yummy recipes, and my kids being all cute and stuff...but it just might be a lot less, or maybe it might be 3 straight days in a row...

So on that's some things that I am loving lately.

I've actually been doing some work too! New pieces are being added to the shop right now!
