Maybe a handful of you noticed that I dropped off the face of the planet....haha. Although it's been almost a month since I've blogged, I am still here! It's been a crazy month. Some of it good crazy and some of it bad crazy. Long story short, we are here with smiles on our faces!
So what did a month away from blogging teach me? First, that i didn't miss it as much as I thought. I missed the 'me time' that I took to put towards posts, but that time was quickly filled up with other things. Things that are definitely more important then writing words on a screen. Like my kids and husband. So ya, I gained a fresh perspective and realized that life's moments can never be replaced or re lived. I left my camera at home more often. I totally slacked as a shop owner (which btw-all multistrand necklaces are 35% OFF in my shop-I need to restock and make room for new and creative pieces!) but I saw things that I would've missed otherwise. There were days when I still sat on Pinterest for an hour or 2, and it's hard to get out of the habit of checking your email every hour too. But you know what, I really put in an effort to take myself away from the computer and I loved every second of it! I even loved it so much that I had days where I thought, heck, I don't even need to blog....but then I remember that I truly do love it. Not as much as my family though, and that is something that I need to constantly remember.
This little blog of mine was never meant to be more then documenting the 'little things' and I really want to get back there. I've probably said that many times before, but this time I mean it. No rat races, no comparison, no obligations, no advertising. Just simply writing and sharing.

If you rewind to the New Year, my word for 2013 was relax. Well, for some reason I lost that, life got jumbled around and I lost my focus. So I am refocusing on what really matters, and when I feel like a blogging break is needed, you betcha I am going to hop on board!
How has your Spring been so far?
