Scenes of Green

I can officially say that I took time last week to enjoy the simple things. Almost as soon as I wrote 'I'm going to be cutting back on blog posts this month,' I felt more relaxed, like I was giving myself permission to slack...Maybe that sounds weird, or maybe you bloggers know what I'm talking about.

I enjoyed simple things like watching Gray look at his reflection in the puddles.

And letting him splash to his hearts content.

Watching him show off how big of a boy he is, balancing on his own.

He also discovered the water drains on the road.

And his reflection in the water 'down dare...'

Oh, and notice the winter coat and hat-that was last Monday and it was also the last time he needed to wear it...

Cause then it became Summer! Seriously I have no idea what is happening with Mother Nature! It is only March, but we broke out the t-shirts, shorts, sunscreen, flip flops and hats! Don't get me wrong I am not complaining at all!!!

And sidewalk chalk!

Linking this one up with Happy Jax (theme is Green):

We also enjoyed some blanket time with some books and our bare toes!

Whats the weather like where you are? Are you experiencing some summer related weather too?

Yes, where I am in the Midwest, we're totally having June or July weather in March! It's unbelievable. My 80+ year old grandpa said he never remembers it being like this. Btw, the little boy pics totally remind me of my almost 2-year-old nephew and his fascination with nature and everything!
