Monthly Wrap Up

Happy Halloween!
Our travels took us to the Pumpkin farm this weekend-better late then never I guess!

I can't believe tomorrow is November...like really?! I don't even think we got an official fall, and tomorrow means winter. You would think I would be used to the snow and cold temperatures, I mean I have lived in South Western Ontario's snow belt my whole life, but no. I am not a winter girl!! However, looking at the positive side of things, it also means Christmas will be here soon! I am a huge Christmas fan...the sparkling lights, the delicious food, the memories, friends and family all together. I love it!

Poor Westyn has a cold again, he's such a trooper though-always smiling!
I have some people that I want to thank. These people have knowingly or unknowingly contributed to the growth of my blog this month and I appreciate it so much!!! So this is a little shout out to them.

The first one is Mel over at The Crafty Scientist! She is fabulous and so giving! My Yarn Light Post-which I posted over there has received humongous (that word looks very weird-but I goggled it and it's spelled right) viewings and recognition and was featured on 5 or 6 other blogs...ya...cool!!! So thank you Mel, you are the best!!!!

My top traffic sources for October included my lovely Pinterest...oh, what I would do without you...I obviously spend way to much time on there! Hehe!

It also included Ashley Sisk...for those of you that know of Ashley's site, well, I don't need to tell you that she is awesome! Her photography is awesome, (she hosts Scavenger Hunt Sunday that I participate in) her attitude is awesome and she is terrific at replying to comments! She was the first person I noticed that actually replies 99.9% of the time. From that moment on, I made a pack that I would do the same for all my comments...

However, if you are a 'no-reply blogger' (as in your email is not visible in your google profile) I can't reply to you!!! I get a least half a dozen every couple of days that come through as a 'no reply', which means just that you do not get a reply from me because I don't have your address. I usually notice before it's too late and I have already hit the send button on my reply. I never get any bounced messages back though, so I wonder where noreply@blogger goes to? They must have a whole pile of random emails, LOL! There is an easy solution-all you have to do is go into your profile settings and click-show email. Easy!!!

Aaaand....two photos of mine were featured on Etsy Treasuries last week here and here. I've barely had my prints up and bam! There they were!!! I'm always amazed when an item of mine gets handpicked out of millions of other pretty things! I've also been creating some pretty cool custom designs for several people, which I absolutely love doing!

Finally, the biggest thanks goes to all my lovely sponsors this month. Let's give them some end of the month love, shall we....Jordan Marie at Holding on to the Little Things, Emily at Then Along Came a Boy and Adrianne at Quiksilver Creations . You guys are the best. I am so happy that I got to meet and work with you all this month!!!

Well, phew, that wraps up October...or does it? Heck no!
I have one last trick up my sleeve and that is a special treat for you guys...
Keep your eyes peeled for one last giveaway for the month of October coming later today!!!

ADORABLE pictures! (And how is it November already? I demand more October time!)

But it was absolutely my pleasure having you over at my blog! I"m so glad you got lots of attention and recognition because that project is seriously incredible (and now you have more than just me telling you that so I"m pretty sure that's like proof it's true)! I had a blast having you over at my blog and I'm so glad that the experience worked out well and got you some traffic! You're so sweet to include me in the monthly roundup! : )
