Chatting with Kelly...

Happy Monday friends! I have a special treat for you today...Kelly, the fabulous lady behind Live Laugh Rowe is sharing a little about herself and blog! I'm sure you are all familiar with her and if your not, I am absolutely certain that you are familiar with her adorable little avatar of herself, that she created, and have seen it around once or twice...PLUS she is the fabulous brain master behind Thee Networking Blog Hop {this months edition just kicked off yesterday-so head on over and make some friends!} Oh, and she's pretty darn sweet, as friendly as can be and I kinda like her ALOT!

Ok...grab a cup of coffee and get comfy!

How would you describe Live Laugh Rowe?
I would describe Live Laugh Rowe as a creative lifestyle blog.  A place where I share crafts, recipes, tutorials, some fashion and life's moments.  I keep things real, but fun!

Blogging, working, owning a shop, life can get pretty busy...how do you balance your daily tasks?
Very carefully…  I try to prioritize and keep organized.  I think that is key for me… Having an editorial calendar, prioritizing and knowing when I need to just take some time for me. I also post all of my blogs a week out (except my party), so that gives me some breathing room.  I'm a perfectionist, so some breathing room is necessary (if you know what I mean, giggle).

Live Laugh Rowe has seen some tremendous success in the past year, is there any advice you would give to someone who has just started blogging?

I am super blessed as to how the blog has grown and continues to grow.  If I had to give any advice it would be this — be social, engage with your readers and take it one day at a time. A lot of bloggers/readers ask how many blogs I visit a day.  Most of what I do is not on blogs — it's in e-mails and social media.  I want my readers and virtual friends to know that I am present.  That is extremely important to me.  I love networking, thinking outside the box and building relationships.  Honestly, it's a win-win!  Doing what I love.

Your clearly a very creative person, what has been your favorite project so far?

My absolute favorite project to date was the completion of my craft room (http://www.livelaughrowe.com/shabby-chic-room-makeover/).  My favorite crafty project would be between the Faux Vintage Paper Mache Book (http://www.livelaughrowe.com/diy-vintage-book-paper-mache/) or the Painted Drop Cloth Soap Wraps (http://www.livelaughrowe.com/thats-a-wrap-painted-drop-cloth/)

Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in everything… TV, magazines, stores, conversation, on-line, etc.  I try to keep a list of 'possibilities' -- a possible craft, post, printable or something inspirational, etc.

If there was one thing you could do, no strings attached, unlimited supply of money...what would it be?
Pay our house off and my school loans, then do some travel in Europe.  I would also pay for my parents retirement  home. They're pastors and have made great sacrifices through the years…  I hate that they're going into retirement with a mortgage.  Other than that — life would go on as is.  Money wouldn't change too many things in my world.

First word that comes to mind...

You...goofy
Shoe...wedges
Bath....relaxation
Food...weakness
Ball...games
Couch...rest
Accessory...watches
Pet...my boys
