We have a baby....

It's been a little quiet on the blog front here...but at home we've been super busy! Super busy with the newest addition to our family!!

Archer arrived 4 days before his due date and has been quite the little bundle of cuteness! He is seriously chomp chomp adorable! I'll let you decide for yourself...

Back to School Jitters...

In a weeks time, my oldest will be off to school! Eek...sometimes I don't feel old enough to have a kid in school, and then I can't believe that my 4 year old will be at school every day, all day...

In fact, I've been worrying myself crazy with questions...what if he doesn't make friends?what if he cries? what if he pees his pants? can he get his shoes on OK? I know, it's basically a bunch of what ifs, and I know my kid isn't the first one to ever go through this...but I hate change AND I know he's going to scream bloody murder when I drop him off with a room full of strangers...which in turn will make me cry...

My dearest, sweetest Grayson...

...you drive me crazy!

Those of you that have a 4 year old at home, please tell me that this phase will pass...

Day Tripping

As a one car family-let's just say that most days during the week are spent at home. On the odd occasion that a car is needed (this particular day, Grayson had JK registration-eek!), Daddy gets a ride to work and we go pick him up. On route to get Daddy we made a pit stop at the river for a little walk....

Splash

It's been raining for 4 days now...on the second day the rain stopped long enough for the sun to peak out and I took that as a sign that puddle jumping was in order :) The boys loved it. Soaked to the bone! But so much fun!

WW-Boys and their Toys

My house is usually scattered with dinky cars, mega blocks and construction toys, but on this fine day, the arrival of my niece brought out some new toys.

My old Barbie Dolls to be exact...

When a photo says a thousand words....

...and among those words are proud, what a mess, beautiful and happy! I was cleaning out some closets and stumbled upon my old oil pastels. Gray took a liking to them and why not, they are bright , colorful and make such a mess, lol. I wish I could borrow some of Gray's artistic inspiration lately. Between the winter blues, life's lovely craziness and everything in between I really need to get my butt in gear for an upcoming craft sale! For some reason the only thing that settles my mind is Pinterest...where I gain tons of pretty images, but never accomplish a thing!

Happy Monday!

WW: The Bathroom 'Clock'

My little guy is obsessed with the bathroom scale...or the 'clock' as he calls it. It never fails, whenever someone has to go to the washroom or is in the shower, Westyn is in there poking around, looking for his 'clock,' it's pretty cute. He steps on. He steps off. He plays with the little tabs around the dial. He steps on. He steps off. Nothing like getting obsessed with his weight early on :)

Finagle a Photo-Best of Week

Happy Jax

When Melanie over at Happy Jax, asked me if I would like to be a guest judge at Finagle a Foto Photography Challenge, I was sooo excited! Finagle a Photo is a super sweet link up that is held every Sunday and this weeks theme is Best of Week...Plus, Melanie is the best! She is someone I could see myself becoming great friends with in 'real life' :) We would take little trips around the country side together, cameras in hand, our boys playing together, laughing...oh it would be so much fun! Don't you love coming across someone who becomes more then a fellow blogger? I do!
My camera took a wee bit of a break this week as we were outdoors nearly all week, parks, walks, just lounging in the backyard. I felt like I had a million things going on, so when we were out there, everything just stopped and we just hung out...it felt good.

I did venture out with my camera to capture the little ones playing with friends though. I love catching their interaction...so much fun, no worries in the world...

I'm sure our Summer Days will be looking a lot like this...friends of ours have two girls-same ages as our boys give or take a few weeks  Grayson and Bronwyn are the best of buds. Cutest thing ever...they can make each other scream, whine, but are so excited to see each other and Gray constantly asks when she is coming over to play again!

Westyn is obsessed with flowers-more specifically, pulling the heads of the flowers off!

I really love this one-My little man, so immersed in that popsicle!
Homemade popsicles are the best!
How was your week? Come on over and share at Finagle a Photo...

Some days...

Some days, like yesturday, are awful. Screaming, pull your hair out awful. Yell like a crazy mad woman, loud enough for all your neighbors to hear you and in fact, think that you are a crazy mad woman awful.

And then, out of blue this peaceful moment comes...

Your laying in the grass, watching your 1 year old discover clovers...

...and you forget about the temper tantrums...the grouchy tears...

...you call over your 3 year old and you spend a few minutes looking and searching...

And in those precious few minutes... things are good. Happy.
